I got this kimono in a giveaway from Jess of Frolic Vintage, and it's been a lifesaver during the summer. I always get cold in restaurants (why do they keep them so cold?? Does it make us eat more?), and this is just light enough to wear over a dress without sweating through it outside.

Oh, maxi skirts.   They are truly the mecca of summer clothing.  They're nice and breezy and you don't have to shave your legs and you still look like you have your life mostly together.  I am decidedly a fan.

This skirt was a replacement for one that I literally wore into the ground last year.  I'm a closet fan of tribal print, and the jewel tones in this one make me look less like a teenager than the more popular pastel ones.
